Manifesto & Terms of Service (TOS)

Megatims is guided by the Aldevian Principles:

  • Transparency: We communicate policies and changes openly.
  • Fairness: Users and partners are treated equally and respectfully.
  • Privacy: Personal data is protected and used only as necessary.
  • Shared Growth: Our platform aims to benefit users and communities collectively.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By using Megatims services, you agree to these Terms of Service, which reflect our Aldevian Principles. We aim for clarity, not legal jargon.

2. Use of Services

  • You may use our services for lawful purposes only.
  • You are responsible for your account, password, and any activity under it.
  • Respect other users; harassment, abuse, or illegal activity is prohibited.

3. Privacy & Data

  • We protect your personal information and only use it to provide services.
  • Your data is stored securely and handled according to your jurisdiction’s privacy laws.
  • You have full control over your personal data, including access, correction, and deletion.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Content provided by Megatims is protected by copyright. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Content you provide remains yours, but you grant Megatims a license to display, distribute, and promote services.

5. Transparency & Accountability

  • Megatims operates openly: policies, processes, and changes are communicated clearly.
  • We commit to responsible reporting, security, and user support.

6. Responsibility, Not Control

  • Users act responsibly while using Megatims services.
  • We do not impose unnecessary restrictions or hidden rules.

7. Updates & Changes

  • Terms may be updated to reflect functional or policy changes.
  • Updates will be communicated clearly; continued use after updates implies agreement.

8. Liability

  • We strive to provide reliable and secure services for all users.
  • Megatims is not responsible for third-party content or external interactions, but we carefully vet partners and integrations.
  • While we aim for uninterrupted service, occasional technical issues may occur; we commit to resolving them promptly.

9. Account Termination & Suspension

  • Accounts selling fictitious items, prohibited content, or engaging in illegal activity (including sexual content involving minors or harmful products) will be closed immediately without the right to mediation or refund.
  • Accounts may also be suspended if invoices are unpaid.

10. Payments & Refunds

  • All payments and refunds follow applicable laws.
  • If a user pays but does not receive goods or services, a refund will be issued according to local consumer protection rules (e.g., EU Consumer Rights Directive, US state laws, Brazil’s CDC).
  • Refunds do not apply to prohibited content, fictitious items, or illegal activity.

11. Third-Party Services

  • Megatims takes full responsibility for its platform integrations.
  • Megatims enforces security and best practices for all users; therefore, external third-party plugins or unapproved integrations are not allowed.
  • Partners and approved third-party apps must comply with these terms, and Megatims actively monitors and enforces compliance.

12. User Content Rules

  • Users must not sell illegal items (e.g., drugs, unapproved food).
  • Content not explicitly prohibited must still comply with laws and platform guidance.
  • All products and content must comply with laws and community standards. Items or messages promoting harm or exploitation toward others — including minors or vulnerable groups — are prohibited.

13. Platform Guidance & Rules

  • The platform guides users through permitted activities; the rules are set by Megatims.
  • Users are expected to follow the platform guidance.

14. Professional Conduct

  • Megatims is a platform for food and product services. Users must keep content professional and relevant to the business.
  • All content must relate to food, products, or services on the platform. Political, ideological, or unrelated content is not permitted.

15. Child Protection

  • Megatims strictly prohibits any sexual content, products, or services involving minors.
  • Users must not post, sell, or promote items or content that exploit or harm minors.
  • In line with Aldevian Principles, a child is considered a child until 18 years old. Megatims reserves the right to refuse any sexual services or content involving minors, even if local laws allow otherwise.
  • This policy applies regardless of local cultural practices or legal thresholds.

16. Dispute Resolution

  • Any problems or disputes should be reported to support@megatims.com.
  • Megatims will review and resolve issues in accordance with applicable laws.

17. Local Representation

    • Megatims operates through different legal entities in various countries to comply with local laws and regulations.
    • If Megatims has a local representative in your region, you are required to interact with that entity for all transactions and services.
    • All local entities operate in accordance with the Aldevian Principles — transparency, fairness, privacy, and shared growth.
    • Users are subject to the laws of the country in which they access or use Megatims services.
    • These entities are responsible for ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, privacy laws, and consumer protection rules.

18. Governing Law

  • Megatims respects and complies with all applicable local and international laws.
  • This TOS is governed by the laws of the United States of America.
  • Users outside the USA are subject to their local laws in addition to these Terms.
